France-based Entrepreneur Announced as European Laureate at Cartier Women’s Initiative 2019

Cartier has announced France-based entrepreneur, Zineb Agoumi, as the 2019 Cartier Women’s Initiative European laureate. Zineb received her award at the programme’s annual ceremony, held in San Francisco.

After her own grandmother’s struggles with mobility which led to her passing, Zineb decided she wanted to establish EzyGain - a machine that can measure the walking preferences of the patient and therefore, transfer key information on their mobility progress to medical professionals.

With significant growth in degenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimers and Arthritis, the need for daily assistive devices for the handicapped is rapidly increasing.

Cartier CEO Cyrille Vigneron announced the seven laureates selected by an independent international jury amongst nearly 2,900 applicants from 142 countries.

Each laureate has been awarded US $100,000 in prize money. All laureates will be receiving personalised business coaching, media visibility, networking opportunities as well as the option to attend an INSEAD Executive Program (ISEP).
