European entrepreneurs announced as finalists for the Cartier Women's Initiative Awards

Ireland's Ciara Donlon, UK's Lise Pape and Russia's Marina Ross have been shortlisted for the 2017 international Cartier Women's Initiative Awards that take place in Singapore on April 12th, 2017

Ireland's Ciara Donlon, UK's Lise Pape and Russia's Marina Ross have been shortlisted for the 2017 international Cartier Women's Initiative Awards that take place in Singapore on April 12th, 2017.

Designed to support women entrepreneurs, the Cartier Women's Initiative awards were established in 2006 by Cartier, the INSEAD business school and McKinsey & Company. With 18 finalists across the following regions: Latin America, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East & North Africa, and Asia-Pacific, the awards promote female-led and socially responsible startup companies.

In Europe, three finalists have been shortlisted:

Ciara Donlon, THEYA Healthcare: Based in Ireland, designing and manufacturing post-surgery lingerie that promotes healing, offers exceptional comfort and functionality, and looks beautiful

Lise Pape, Walk with Path: London-based entrepreneur designing assistive technology that focuses on improving people’s balance and mobility

Marina Ross, Nanobarrier HYDROP: Russian entrepreneur developing a superhydrophic, self-cleaning nano-coating that protects suede, nubuck and textile surfaces by repelling liquids and stains

The announcement of the Laureates takes place during the Awards ceremony in Singapore on April 12th, 2017. Each regional winner will be awarded $100,000 in funding, personalised coaching for one year, networking and visibility opportunities.
