With the announcement of the 2019 finalists of the Cartier Women's Initiative, Cartier is reiterating its commitment to women entrepreneurs, therefore hoping to showcase their key role in society and their contribution to the economy.
In South Asia & Oceania, the three finalists have been shortlisted:
Priya Prakash, HealthSetGo: Comprehensive health services for schools encompassing health education, medical assessments, insurance services and health infrastructures.
Fariel Salahuddin, UpTrade: A bartering service enabling off-grid rural communities to exchange livestock for solar-powered water pumps and home systems.
Carmina Bayombong, InvestEd: An investment platform providing student loans to underserved youth using a proprietary credit rating algorithm.
The announcements of the laureates takes place during the Awards ceremony in San Francisco on 2nd May 2019. Each regional winner will be awarded $100,000 in prize money, personalised coaching for one year, networking and visibility opportunities.
