18 trailblazing female entrepreneurs announced as finalists for the 2018 Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards

Cartier has today announced the 2018 Cartier Women's Initiative Award nominees.

The 2018 Finalists of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards (CWIA) have been announced today. The 18 finalists were selected amongst nearly 2,900 applications from over 130 countries.

The oldest Awards of its kind, the CWIA were established in 2006 by Cartier, INSEAD Business School and McKinsey & Company. Ten years and counting, the Awards has become synonymous with supporting creative excellence from around the world, as more than 160 entrepreneurs from 45 countries have experienced first-hand.

Since its inception, the CWIA has supported women entrepreneurs leading creative start-ups that are financially sustainable and socially impactful. The international competition continues to contribute to the global economy, by seeking out audacious female entrepreneurs who are making concrete contributions to finding effective and affordable solutions for future generations, as well as to encourage more women to pursue entrepreneurship.
