With the announcement of the 2019 finalists of the Cartier Women's Initiative, Cartier is reiterating its commitment to women entrepreneurs, therefore hoping to showcase their key role in society and their contribution to the economy.
In MENA, the three finalists have been shortlisted:
Alineb Sara, NaTakallam: An online platform connecting refugees with people seeking language classes and translation services.
Hibah Shata, Maharat Learning Center: A learning centre offering behavioural therapy and educational support to children and young adults with special needs.
Reine Abbas, Spica Tech: Video-game development classes and online sessions for children aged 6 to 16.
The announcements of the laureates takes place during the Awards ceremony in San Francisco on 2nd May 2019. Each regional winner will be awarded $100,000 in prize money, personalised coaching for one year, networking and visibility opportunities.
