South Korean Entrepreneur Announced as East Asian Laureate at Cartier Women’s Initiative 2019

With the announcement of the 2019 finalists of the Cartier Women's Initiative, Cartier is reiterating its commitment to women entrepreneurs, therefore hoping to showcase their key role in society and their contribution to the economy.
In North America, the three finalists have been shortlisted:
Ran Ma, Siren: Smart socks for diabetics made of Neurofabric, a proprietary technology fitted with micro-sensors to monitor foot temperature and guard against foot ulcers.
Emily Levy, Mighty Well: Functional and stylish apparel and accessories catering to the needs of people with long-term illness.
Margaret Magdesian, Ananda Devices: New models of human brain, spinal cord and innervated tissues using stem-cell and organ-on-a-chip technology to accelerate drug development.
The announcements of the laureates takes place during the Awards ceremony in San Francisco on 2nd May 2019. Each regional winner will be awarded $100,000 in prize money, personalised coaching for one year, networking and visibility opportunities.
